About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Fascinating what you are blogging these last couple of entries. Are you doing a course? Is it a local course or through WordPress? Interesting topics and assignments.

The poems I posted last week and the “Child’s Refuge” are submitted to fulfill assignments in writing201 (poetry). Lesson 6 was to pick words in some manner and use them in a poem. I picked up a hymn book and chose the fourth word from 25 hymn titles. Those I had to arrange into a poem. It was a challenge! The Hezekiah piece was just something I pulled out that I thought was timely with the world condition getting like it is. Tomorrow I will post a poem. It is to be a ballad; subject is “neighborhood.” I have it ready but I am trying to add a picture and I’m not succeeding very well. It is to fulfill Lesson 7. Other classmates are on Lesson Nine, I think. I’m running behind.

Yes, hope is in know God cares for our babies – and for adults – and everything between! I thought I should cheat and change soldiers to angels, but they are basically the same as far as offering protection, aren’t they? I always enjoy you, jacque.
