For your delight with the Lord today, try personalizing Ps. 21. You will have this:

I, Oneta,  rejoice in your strength, Lord. How great is my joy in the victories you give!
You have given me my heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of my lips.
You came to greet me with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on my head.
I asked you for life, and you gave it to me – length of days, for ever and ever.
Through the victories you gave, my glory is great; you have bestowed
on me splendor and majesty.
Surely you have granted me unending blessings
and made me glad with the joy of your presence.

Okay, I haven’t received a “kingly” crown of pure gold, or splendor or majesty. But in reality I have received strength, victories, heart’s desire, blessings, life, length of days, and the joy of his presence. And the touch of his hand on my head is so much more than a crown of gold

By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...
