About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. 1. Awesome! Ha! I also like, Ahhhhh-some. Awe, just awe,no some required. 🙂

  2. Salvageable says:

The word awful used to mean what awesome now means. I checked my KJV concordance, and evidently the translators did not use either word. But three of the Psalms speak of awe. J.

Interesting. Thanks It became the “anointed” word in the late 70’s, I think, when “God is an Awesome God” became popular. I think it is trite and overused, but I still use it. I guess it is preferable to “far out.” 😀
