Here are the fill-ins:

1. The most interesting museum I have been to is _____________.

I do not travel very much.  But I live in the city which is home of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.  It is dedicated to the victims of the domestic terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in which 168 people were killed and nearly 700 more were injured.  This building included a daycare for children of employees so children were included in the dead.  My husband and I were home on that day and we felt the explosion about 15-18 miles away.

The museum is well worth seeing.  It’s main feature is an empty chair for each person killed.  Heart touching.

2. The most interesting historical place I have been to is _______________.

A favorite genre of reading for me is historical fiction.  I especially like the “Gone with the Wind” type story.  Therefore, I do like historical places such as Vicksburg, MS, but I have not spent much time there, mostly I just look as we drive through – a husband thing.  However, we did get more sights in days gone by before the by-pass highways.

3. ___________________ is back!

Mostly I am happy to report that my ability to walk is back.  I only use the cane now if I go to places that have big parking lots or long halls.

4. I was surprised ___________________.

I was surprised last Saturday evening when my son and his fiancee told me they were going to get married the next morning!  They did so in a private ceremony in the pastor’s office after morning church.  Surprise.  See “Just Married” on today’s blog.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

Well, you are just so welcome to my site whether you stumble in or walk with grace! 😀 I visited you also and left a follow; I look forward to seeing more of your material. And I see that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. That is a blessed decision. No matter what happens in life it is better with him, and eternity is an awesome continuing of our lives. We have a chance for an eternal relationship – you and I. Who can think of anything better.
