SILLY PUTTY, SILLY PUTTY

jump rope

Try this out for a jump rope song—

Silly putty, silly putty

Makin’ snakes until your nutty.

Looky there!

Did you see that?

One of the snakes

Is wearing a hat!

How many hats will it take

To make a hat for every snake?

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

When I said, Silly putty, silly putty it struck that chord in my head, Cinderella, dressed in yellow, went upstairs to kiss her fella…. My arms started swinging and you have the result. 😀 Something close anyway. I never could jump rope but my arms have a hard time staying still when I hear the action.

Thank you. My Great-grands are that age. When they come again, I hope I remember to teach them. Maybe they would share with friends. They might even be proud of me; that would be satisfying! 😀
