swaddled baby

Merry Christmas! Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life! According to I Cor. 4:1,2 we are servants and stewards of the mysteries of God. I Tim. 3:16 says that one of those mysteries is that Christ appeared in the flesh. He could have appeared in the flesh as a grown man in the form that God created Adam, but he chose to come as a baby. A part of the song “Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life” says “It is love and love alone the world is seeking.” That song has much truth in it; however, the only love that satisfies, is that brought to the world in the form of a baby, proving to us the love of God who would take on himself the form of man to identify with every joy and struggle common to mankind. Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life—Jesus! Happy Birthday.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

Thank you, Julie. Hope the day has been good for you, but know you have pain from your loses this year. We just rejoice in what Jesus made possible for us in eternal life. I’m back home now and company has gone so I am going to do some blog catch up. I’ve noticed several whose schedules have been sort of “iffy” this week. But it is nice to have more than blogging to live for, even thought it had added much to my life. You, for instance. 😀

The “Christmas” marked on the calendar has passed for a year. I hope we do not let the “Christmas” lie stale in our hearts until then. Have a wonderful year, dear Dawn. 😀
