I’m off for service to celebrate Jesus and his victory in our behalf – salvation and life. Wow, what a victory – and we are more than conquerors because he conquered for us.

ABOUT ME
Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...
Happy Easter Oneta!!!
Thank you, how can one miss with Easter. Oh, joyous day. This morning we explored what Martha knew about the resurrection when she said to Jesus that Lazarus would rise again at the resurrection Found some wonderful OT references. But the best of all was knowing Jesus said “I am the resurrection.” He is IT. Amen and amen.
truly…amen!
Happy Easter, Oneta. I hope your day was filled with blessings!
The best of the season to you also, Linda. Yes, my week-end contained “famly.” Today also. Love them. Cold here. Hope your days are nicer weather-wise.
A friend has a sister in Oklahoma City, and she said yesterday that it was supposed to be something like 40 degrees last night. That is cold. But surely by the time the Easter season is over, you’ll have warmth, and flowers!
The last I heard it was to get a little warmer for two or three days then another cold blast even colder than this one. I think it dropped into the thirties early this morning. Thirty is a lot colder in April than it is in January! I had a lady come do yard clean up last week (or two). Lots of pretty growth under the old dead stuff from last year. I didn’t have anyone to do clean up in the fall, so it was badly in need. A Lovely Payoff! Things are coming around. I’m about to get the computer despair settled, hopefully. Anyway I’m at home right now and here I am doing my thing (at least doing some of it)! I think I saw a post from you way back in this mail box. I will get to it. May you be breathing warm Easter breeze.
I think Easter in this time lost the real meaning .. Easter is not about eggs and bunnies!
You are right! Easter is about the One who makes everlasting life a dream come true.
OH, the things I take for GRANTED!!
And likely the things we take for granted are the very things for which we should be most grateful.
Thank you. Yes I thought of you as we remembered death and resurrection and our temperatures were hovering between high Summer and something more like early Autumn. Only our God is constant. Thank God indeed for His sacrifice, death and resurrection and desire for relationship with .humanity. Thank you for your encouraging blog.
Always nice to have your confirming words. Good night, dear sister in Jesus.
