WHAT’S SPECIAL? MY FIFTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY AFTER MY NEAR DEATH TRAUMA!*
The following selection is from a FB status in July, 2013. I had written it soon after coming home from Denver.
Psalm 91 has been my “food of choice” this month. Hardly a day has gone by without it. It amazes me. “Because she loves me, I will rescue her…I will protect her because she acknowledges my name.” That is the only reason that makes any sense for how so many people worked together and cared enough to get me off that mountain to the medical team who saw me as worth saving. I’m amazed and so thankful. I am taking the following excerpt from my manuscript “To Know His Name.” I don’t know how it will look on FB but I hope it will come through in an understandable way.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord (Friend)
I will rescue him: (Provision)
I will protect him, (Victor)
For he acknowledges my name
He will call upon me, and I will answer him; (Guidance)
I will be with him in trouble, (Peace)
I will deliver him and honor him. (Holiness)
With long life will I satisfy him, (Healing)
And show him my salvation. (Salvation)

God knew someone like me would need you further down the line…so it just wasn’t time…
At that time I didn’t know what blogging was. It has been a great new reason for being. And I’m ever so thankful. So glad to have met you. A new acquaintance for Heaven.
Truly so—and when you had the heart attack I didn’t know blogging either — funny how things work— I never believe in coincidences— Divine intervention, yes!
It is wonderful to be in his “employ” and to receive the intrinsic blessings he pours upon those who strive to obey him. Good night, Sweet girl.
Praise God!
Amen.
Praise God for all our life experiences. Our journeys can have an impacting effect on others and with Him as our companion we are as Him in the place of trauma. Thank you for the reminder and thank God for your five years of life lived and the NOW. Blessings indeed. Blogging is a God Gift.
He is a joy to serve.
This may seem like an odd time to mention how I like the way God knits us together. But had you not come down off that mountain we would not have met and I would have missed all of the wonders and the encouragement you shared, that which helped keep me going.
What a mighty God we serve! We will never recognize the many ways he moves in our lives. It is sweet of you to make this comment. Let’s keep truckin’ along together for as long as the Lord wills it. 😀
Angels bow before him, Heaven and Earth adore him… let’s do, my friend.
Amen.
