Have you read HOW FLOSSIE SEES FLORA? reference https://onetahayes.com/2018/10/27/how-flossie-sees-flora/
******************
Wish my grandma was still alive. Miss her fabulous stories and delightful fun. Instead, there’s an old flibbertigibbet, Flossie, who lives next door. Our first encounter was a fruitless flub when I tried to explain that is was not my fault papers from my garbage fluttered into her yard. That was a foreshadow of the fuming floodgates to come. For sure, her scoffing language did not display femininity! She let me know that she had more knowledge in her little finger than I had in my head. She had been a Flight Attendant and quite a fashionista before I was old enough to grip my bottle with its frothy fruit flavored filling. Funny picture, That! Her wizened faded flesh in a flimsy flock. It was smart to cover her wrists to ankles; no wonder she was modest. She forfeited my friendship. A big zero.
I’m famished; wish I had some of grandma’s fantastic fried pies. I wish I had a grandma!

I like your finale, quite an ironic twist to your story.
Thank you. I appreciate your comments. Just came back from reading “Cream and Honey.” It is lovely.
