I’ve enjoyed living under the rule of the Constitution. You may very well be right. The world as I know it quite possibly will be gone.
The world always changes. In a democracy, constitution is not written in stone and that’s why there are amendments. Every generation has seen changes that it could not have contemplated.
Don’t despair. Even the flat earthers had to come around to accept a spherical earth.
Let’s enjoy life as long as we are here and ignore the road bumps.
Constitution is written in stone as far as I am concerned. Doesn’t it give instructions about how to add amendments to fit future situations. That there are Amendments proves that there are legitimate ways to make changes. Bills ratified by – 2/3 of the states, isn’t it? If a party or person wants a change that’s the way to do it. Why don’t the people who want to make changes do it the legal way? Obviously they do not believe it would pass or they would. Want gun control or confiscation? Then do it legally. Want to abolish the Electoral College? Then do it the legal way. Stick with the Constitution. Every person guaranteed the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If someone want to add “privacy” it should be added in the same way as other Amendments were added.
Be careful of what you wish for. It will be granted 😀
I’m not sure of your meaning. Is there something wrong with me supporting the Constitution with its legal means for making changes. You see if we do not do that, the next route is judicial rulings (I guess). If judicial rulings are at the whim of one man/woman we are indeed in trouble. By the way sometimes you make the last comment on our string of comments and I do not know how to respond. There have been some I have dropped without another thrust nor a bow. That’s the reason. If you want the “feud” to continue you have to come here on my first level of comments again. (I guess.) 😀 I’ve never claimed to know the system. Much of the time I decide it is mo longer necessary to kill a dead horse so I just let you have the last word I have been over to check on some of your blog. Short on time so I made no response. Today was too gory for me. I home school a couple grandkids on Wed and Thurs. Very busy days for me. Just came in tonight to catch up on comments. I will be out of town or having company tomorrow and Saturday. So perhaps you should use these next two days to polish your spear. 😀

I am not a lawyer but don’t believe that the 2nd Ammendment gave the right to individuals to bear AK 47s.

Well, that is certainly true. I’m betting on it. No way can we make enough changes in 12 years to avoid catastrophe. I’ve never driven a car newer than about 12 years old. I seriously doubt that I can buy a new one just because it is electric. Besides the electric plants have to .have fossil fuel so that wouldn’t work either. Is there such a thing as a solar energy car? I don’t know. Thanks for the comment. Makes me think. 😀
Oh my faith tells me and Revelations teaches us all. The Lord will return to claim His Bride long before we are burnt up. blown up or otherwise got rid of. Politicians who may be idiots in other ways who turn their nation towards Israel in 2019 are to be commended. if only our Auzzie prime Minister would stop trying to please the bleating ‘We hate Israel ” uninformed we might also be in a safer and more Christian position. if Climate changes any more here where I live we surely don’t have many years left. Its almost the end of the first month of Autumn and we have broken every temperature record in 200 years. Blessings and keep looking upward to all.

It’s very hard for me not to jump into a political-scientific brouhaha, but that would be a waste of time and effort. I will say, however, that I don’t believe Mr. Trump has the power or desire to destroy the world 🙂
This was political satire only. I was poking fun at the ones who blame President Trump for everything. In twelve years we can not switch to water or solar energy no matter how much money Pres. Trump might pour into the bucket for climate control. I do think his concern for clean water for everyone is a worthy goal. Thanks for the comment, granonine. All the call for electric cars is funny to me. Electric cars have to have electricity. Aren’t electric plants run by fossil fuels? How would they even get an electric car to me here in Oklahoma if there are no fossil fueled trucks to bring them here. Alas, we are up a creek with only a paddle and I need a gas motor. 😀

I find it odd that the people who believe man developed from a small water creature think he would be defeated by a two degree rise in temperature. I’m just not into that trauma at all. 😀 Thanks for appreciating my metaphor.
