BACON BECKONS

sizzle

The sizzle of bacon, the crack of egg, the swish of the mixer,

the splat of butter, the scrunch of toast, the slurp of milk, the sprinkle of salt,

the sighs of satisfaction.

“God is Great, God is Good, Let us thank Him for our food.”

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). 1. I’m afraid my children frequently prayed this one by the time they remembered:
“God is good, God is great.
Thank You for the food we ate.” :/

  3. Faye says:

Thank God for all the great blessings in our lives. Personally we love bacon but only have it rarely now BUT thank God as we go. Blessings.

  4. I could go for a wonderful home cooked meal. Can’t do anything now with my right arm in a sling and having no coordination with my left hand.
