Alive Forevermore!

tomb

Your future is bright.

Jesus is no longer there.

As He is, so you can be –

Alive forever more!

*******************

Joining you all, dear friends, in thanks to Jesus, our hope of glory, our present and future life eternal – because of him, his death, his resurrection. I’m  thinking of mom with death at her door.  Near death -I think these were her last words – she revived enough to strike her arm through the air and said, “Forgiven, forgiven, forgiven, and all because of the blood.” Wouldn’t those be beautiful words to say as you walk through Heaven’s door!

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

A blessed Easter to you and yours, Oneta. It’s a day that shines, even without chocolate bunnies and colored eggs — but those are part of the fun, too, and it certainly is a day to rejoice.

Thank you, Linda. And may you have special ventures today with satisfying results. For example, if you join in an egg hunt, I hope you find the golden one. And if you tend more to a nap, may you be blessed with sweet dreams. And in special worship time, feel a satisfying sense of peace about you. Happy Easter.

Happy Easter Oneta. May you and your family stay blessed.

“live forever” – nah! The thought of sparring with you till kingdom comes is not appealing to me. I shall enjoy this one life to the fullest😂

When Jesus reveals himself to you, just don’t be stubborn! 😀 And thanks for the “stay” blessed. We truly are. Have a wonderful day the start of a wonderful week.

Talk to the old bearded guy everyday and he tells me I am OK. He did not tell me his religion though😊. So did you get the golden egg?

        • oneta hayes says:

OK? But no future? I found the golden egg a long time ago. It had a lot of good stuff in it but not as much money as I would like. 😀

          • pranabaxom says:

Even POTUS has lots of money. It is not the good stuff. You are the lucky one to get all the good stuff.
Future is well defined, from dust to dust.

            • oneta hayes says:

Body – dust to dust. I’m much more than body. May you and your family share all that is available to you – the good stuff. 😀 My son and grandson are setting up a new table and chairs for me – good stuff but just stuff. Good stuff is my hope of glory where we will be “setting up table” forevermore.

  3. Happy Day of everlasting Resurrection Oneta 🙂

Did you find any eggs?😂 I did.
How are you doing with your health? God bless your mom.😘😘

    • oneta hayes says:

My greatest egg find is the two that fry in my skillet. LOL And thank you dear, I am doing quite well health-wise. Staying busy. Are you? Lots of good stuff to do.

      • Shreya says:

Hahaa..I just took my exams so I was these days a bit free but I wonder what work are you into in your eighties.😂 Hahaa kidding.

        • oneta hayes says:

I understand why you wonder what I would have to do. This morning I got up at 6:00 to go babysit three g-grandchildren while the mother took another for state testing. Drove through rain. Okay but I was not comfortable. Came home about two. Took a nap. Spent about two hours with a technician Then ate, and came to the blog. On my desk I have a Sunday lesson to prepare on Isaiah 43, some insurance matters to take care of, pay a bill for $426 dollars, two family albums out to put on hard drive, an old grade book from which I am looking for names of some soccer students from thirty years ago because one of them will be here and my husband wants to know, an Easter card to respond to from a friend I haven’t seen in 4 or 5 years and I want to go see her this week-end, a newly widowed friend I want to meet for lunch….and I am slow these days. 😀 And that hasn’t touched house keeping, meals, laundry, dusting, etc. And I love to study just about anything. And I would like to read. Eighties can be a busy time. Not much time to procrastinate. 😀
