NO SUBSTITUTE FOR FATHER GOD

HAVE YOU NOTICED Mark 3:34-35? When Jesus said those who do God’s will “will be my brother, sister, and mother.”  He did not say anyone else would be his father.  No one could take the place of his Father. We may have step-fathers, god-fathers, or any other substitute for our earthly father. But no one can take the place of Jesus’s Father.

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

    A-men. Abba Father, my Father in Heaven, a privilege won for us at great personal price. Certainly no OTHER is our heavenly place to find refuge.
