Dana left the house unsure about leaving Tabby, the new kitten she had just acquired. Tabby seemed tame and low key, not at all capricious. The catastrophe began innocently enough when Tabby spied a crunchy chip amidst the dirt under the sofa. She had to shrink lower to investigate since the capacity of space was quit insufficient. She reached out a paw, gave a little blow, and flipped the sweet morsel into free space. As she backed out she became entangled with an electric cord. The fiberglass lamp crashed with a fulgurant explosion. Startled and subdued but still curious, Tabby crept forward and gave the lamp a nosy lick. Alas – the electric shock made Tabby quite rigid.
Fret not, Tabby cat lovers, that was only the third of Tabby’s nine lives! 😀
