CHECK THIS #4

check markA MOTTO FOR TEACHERS—Sunday teachers and week-day teachers, from Thes. 5:14 “warn those who are idle (KJ unruly), encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Be sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.”

And in addition to that he/she gets some content thrown in!

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

  1. Sounds like the title of a book that says it all: “Everything I Needed To Know in Life, I Learned in Kindergarten.” 😉

“Be sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong,” – don’t think the current POTUS was taught by any teacher with that motto.

He is somewhat of a slugger! But he sure tackles the problems and some he wins in spite of all the powerful against. He still has me. I do not want a captain who gives up the ship. By the way I enjoy a slugfest with you on occasion. And I notice you do not mind whacking back at me sometimes. I don’t call you names for it. Good night, Pranab. Near midnight and I need to get kids on the school bus by 6:30 in the morning.

      • pranabaxom says:

When did I call you names😭

        • oneta hayes says:

Excuse me. I thought I had heard you call President Trump names. I think my point was that people could disagree and not call each other names. I believed that was the kind of thing you were deriding President Trump for doing. I rather like for him, and you, to fight for me. Slug away. He is slugging today/yesterday because he doesn’t want war and he wants our people back from Afghanistan. Again he is taking a blasting. The very ones who blasted him a few months ago for hiring Bolton are now blasting him for firing him. Oh, what a life!

Relieved. I thought I called you names.
Did you forget all about candidate Trump’s and POTUS’ derogatory names for anyone he dislikes?

            • oneta hayes says:

I believe you are stuck. Did you not see that I said he is slugger, shall you detail and say that includes name calling. I did not mean it meant fist fighting. Do you have no response to the other things I said in my comment? And I did not dispute that he sometimes returns wrong for wrong BUT many things he does are right. Let me see if you can possibly verbalize some of his achievements to me, just as I have admitted to his faults. Hey, Hey. Choke out some of those words.
