23 random facts about yourself that may surprise your friends. 🤔🤔
THE QUESTIONS
1. Do you make your bed every morning? Yes, and sometimes in the afternoon too after nap time.
2. What was your first car? I don’t remember but it had four doors, four tires, eight windows. And it had a motor. Pretty common kind of car.
3. What two grocery items do you never run out of? I am diligent about keeping mac and cheese as emergency food, and a can of cranberry sauce I’ve had since 1987. I hate cranberry sauce so I expect never to run out of it.
4. At what age did you start doing your laundry? 18, when I went to college.
5. If you could, would you go back to high school? Not if it means being a teenager again. I would like to sit through some classes that I didn’t like then, but would like now, such as history, civics, geography.
6. Can you parallel park in under three moves? Nope, but I can parallel park.
7. A job you had which people would be shocked to know you once had? All my jobs have been very common. Student aide, waitress, secretary, teacher, church staff. Guess that is why money in retirement is in short supply
8. Do you think aliens are real? God created man on earth, but I have no idea what else he has done through the ages. So maybe, but I don’t think they “visit” the earth
9. Can you drive a stick shift? Yes.
10. Guilty TV pleasure? Have none. I don’t watch junk. If I have any guilt it would be from watching TV of any kind when I need to do something else.
11. Tattoos? 15 (Does that surprise you? Does it surprise you that I have 15 tattoos or that I lied? Joking of course. I don’t have any tattoos or piercings.)
12. If the world ends do you want to be one of survivors? I don’t know how there could be survivors. But, no, I wouldn’t choose to live; heaven will be a wonderful spot to land.
13. Sweet or salty? Salty.
14. Do you enjoy soaking in a nice hot bath? I hate to take time out for a shower but always enjoy it once I’m wet. I take showers not baths. The only place I take a chance on getting into a tub is in a hotel when I have no option. Then I have to sit on the side and lift my feet into the tub. Not pretty!
15. Do you consider yourself a strong person? Yes. However, don’t tell my husband. He believes I’m not strong enough to vacuum and clean the bathtub.
16. Something people do that drives you nuts? Watch unending hours of TV.
17. Do you have any birthmarks? I don’t remember. I think I used to think a couple dark spots on my skin were birthmarks, but now I can’t pick them out of their crowd.
18. Favorite childhood game? Paper dolls. Is that a game? Guess not, but that’s what I remember doing – that and coloring
19. Do you talk to yourself? Seldom out loud, but often in my head. Sometimes I talk to you even though you are probably a thousand miles away.
20. Do you like doing jigsaw puzzles? Yes, but I can only concentrate on doing one that has about 350 pieces. Below sixty pieces bore me, 250 I’m fine.
21. Tea or coffee? Neither if hot. I like sweet tea – faucet temperature.
22. First thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up? Nurse. I loved the Cherry Ames books.
23. Favorite game now? Rummikub

You crack me up!!!
😀 Thanks.
Great. Good that I have a soul mate who can laugh at herself (though I am sure she would whack this non-believer on the head first chance she had😂).
I’d whack just hard enough to make you listen to me. Thank you for the comment. I admire your ability to stand right in front of my fast ball and never duck and run. 😀 I’ll be watching for your next throw. Will it mock our President or our God. “Our” as in yours and mine. Too stubborn to admit it? Go right a poem dedicated to “nothing” and remember that nothing can not even be air or space. It is hard for me to conceive of “nothing.” Wax poetic. 😀
Right now too hungry to write anything
With an empty stomach I can’t think of nothing
Hope ours, your and mine, by whatever name we call her or him
Will send something my way, I pray for nothing
I just read what I wrote before. I said go right a poem. No wonder you did not write a poem. You probably thought I mean to proofread. Sorry instruction from me. Come back when you are well fed. You still doing the cooking? I’ll pray for you. Someday…..you’ll thank me. 😀
Yes, I still cook. I love to but today’s dinner will be from Whole Food (I always think the name came from making a hole in people’s pockets after buying food) as I am running some errands.
I thought I sent you a nothing (poem) 😂
That was good! That’s what I got and I didn’t recognize it.
See nothing can come from nothing😂
Hahaaa…Great work
😀 Thank you.
You’re welcome
Thank you, Harryson. I appreciate your reading my posts and leaving likes or comments so I can follow to yours. I do follow. I like your courage. I generally do not read long posts but enjoy the scan throughs with you.
I appreciate much 🙏

Fun things get passed on quickly. 😀
Like reading this. So many of your answers were exactly the same as mine. One the dress up cardboard dolls were the love of my life. Today’s children look at you as if you’ve ‘flipped.
love and understand your bath description. I have always preferred to take a bath than have a shower. Now I can get in and out of the shower without incident (there is a handrail). I think I would be frightened if I go into the bath they’d need to emply heavy equipment to haul me out again.
Great questions and your replies made then zing. Thank you.
Oh, Faye, you have given me another thing to worry about regarding tub bathes. Being hoisted out of the tub would be even less pretty than getting in! What a nice expression that my “replies made them zing.” That sounds fun. Good night, dear friend.
I loved playing paper dolls. One of my best friends used to play paper dolls with me — a boy named Timmy. When we got bored with that, we’d go across the street to the school playground and push each other on the swings.
That sounds like a wholesome twosome. I did enjoy swings also. Was never as nervy as my cousins. Even then my cautious side dominated. I guess not so much anymore. Would you call me cautious? Sending you smiles without emojis.
Some people confuse “cautious” and “smart.” I think you’re smart.
I’m smart enough to accept that answer and say thanks.
Loved your answers. I responded when Kathy Boecher posted her answers. This might be a personal question, but are any of those fictional tattoos in places that you would be embarrassed to mention?
I would like to retract this question, that I meant in jest. It might be taken the wrong way. I apologize.
I knew you were just jesting, pulling my leg, in fun. I took no offense. My generation of peers don’t get uptight at a man kidding around a little if it is funny and not vulgar. I don’t remember why I didn’t answer last night when I read it. So I answer at this point, If I had 15 tattoos they would all be visible. Why would I pay in money and pain for something that can’t be seen? Well on second thought maybe I would hide them. They are ugly!
Both good points. I had a friend that was ‘dared’ to get a tattoo. He got one between two of his toes, so no one would ever see it, except for the person that dared him.
Well some have taken dares and have shown themselves bigger fools! 😀
Agreed
Thanks for the mention, and for playing along answering the questions, Oneta! I enjoyed reading them. Had to laugh at the ‘old’ cranberry sauce!
I remember playing with paper dolls all the time. We’d buy books of them, or just cut them out of catalogs. Hours of fun. 🙂
Yes, those catalogs. Especially nice if you could find a girl with a slip on – then look for dresses that fit. Ooops to often when I didn’t remember to leave a tab on the shoulders and sides.
