Background snowflakes adds some sheen,

So, keeping it very simple, I’m saying:

I’m off to see the kinfolks, the lovely, lovely kinfolks. —Not following the Yellow Brick Road, nor am I wearing red patent shoes, nor am I taking the dog. 😀 I fed the fish and watered the plants. Now I’m outta here. See you after Christmas.

Merry Christmas and safe travels, Oneta! Some of those sweaters do begin to approach Ugly Christmas Sweater status, but they’re part of the fun of the season. I guess!
Actually I thought they were quite pretty and festive for many years, but they are being a bit extreme now that people have started having Ugly Sweater contest, parties, and such. Merry Christmas, Linda. I bought a new Kindle Fire 10 so I will be able to read while I’m gone. My present to myself.
How wonderful! My present to myself is going to be the hardware to hang a couple of bird feeders at my new place — which, by the way, I love. In fact, I like it better than my old place. You never know!
Glad it was worth the move.
