CONSIDER THIS

Let’s try an experiment.

I say God.  What image came to mind?

I say Man.  What image came to mind?

Did you think of Jesus, when I said God.

Did you  think of Jesus, when I said Man.

Yet Jesus was/is the ultimate of both.

I say Death, did Life come to mind?

I say Life, did Death come to mind?

Consider Jesus.

Jesus is the death of Death and the life of Life.

I say Calvary, did Death come to mind?

I say Resurrection, did Life come to mind?

Consider Jesus.

Jesus – the Man-God who died; the God/Man who lives.

By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

  1. When I was in high school we had a pastor’s wife who made the comment, “We live to die….we die to live”. That truth has stuck with me.
