GO, BLOGGERS

I miss it.  IT referring to the daily grind.  The clock punching.  The staying on schedule in order to keep others on schedule.  An affirmation and  to others.  The do-my-part in order to accomplish good for others.

Tossing papers from those days is hard to do.  The above snippet is from a yearly plan book about ten years ago, shows visits I made to home bound or nursing home spiritual brothers and sisters.  Notice the mileage.  That’s because someone was paying me for miles.  No one pays me for miles anymore.  Blogging doesn’t require miles.  That’s good.  But its not the same.  I like team work.

However, blogging does provide for a cyberspace kind of team rapport if one wants that.  It is enhanced by the ability to leave comments.  Almost all bloggers answer those who leave messages in comments section.  I like that.  We just comment back and forth until the last “amen” or “emoji” or “good night.”

And we have the sense of loss when one of our “team” quits blogging.  I miss Natalie, who moved to heaven,  and “yep,” I miss Wally who got too many irons in the fire.  And I missed Yinglan when she took a two month lapse.  Something like pain occurs when someone just disappears without explanation.

Yes, My Friends, let’s hear it for the Team!   T- E- A-M,  TEAM, TEAM.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

And here I thought IT meant Information Technology. How dumb of me.,😀

In that workbook of yours make an entry for the future, to meet me in hell, mileage unknown 😀.

Thanks for the info. There’s still space in Heaven and the potency of Christ’s blood still forgives. And I’m still praying. You can still play on my team here though. 😀

Though I am not a pure vegetarian, I stay away from anything to do with blood, including my own. So I shall pass on your offer. Also the old bearded guy assured me that I am in the right place and will be in the right place in afterlife, if there is one. As I am not for seeking what I don’t need, I am fine where I am and right now enjoying delicious grape fruit from our neighbor’s tree with salt, green chilies, black pepper and red chilli powder😋🥵.

Steaming hot. Guess you are adapting.

This used to be a savory delicacy of childhood for those langurous summer days with something similar to grapefruits ( but much bigger, like pomelos) and in winter with oranges.

Fruit sounds good but with all that hot stuff. Would you eat that with regular grapefruit? You like salt on lots of things, don’t you? I do, but I don’t allow myself to have much. I love it on lemons, apples, watermelons, grapefruit. Can’t do it.

That’s a special test. Hot and spicy goes well with citrus fruits. Actually salt is very less as other spices are there. It enhances and spices up the tangy, sour test. With apples and watermelons, specially watermelons, rarely.

  2. I enjoy this blogging “team,” too. Nice post!

U rah rah, let’s hear it for the team.❤️❤️

  4. I miss Natalie so much— thinking about her ever day—-and I miss Wally but I know he’s pursuing a dream of service—so the loss is not as intense as perhaps with Natalie — I like to hold this extended family of mine close

Love being on this blogging team. Good Post! Lots of fuel for comment in what others write as well. Thank you.
