ME THIS MORNING AT BEDSIDE:
ME: Ah, Lord God. You are so awesome, Creator of All! I behold your wondrous works. What joy I get from seeing your details for our design. Ears protected by wax and hair; nose protected by hair; mouth which can be kept closed; eyes protected by lids and lashes. — I wonder if camels have wax in their ears.
GOD: Go check google. So I did.
GOOGLE: Camels have fur in ears; three eyelids, two rows of lashes; Nostrils can close.
HA!! Same source. Humans and camels equipped with same natural protective capabilities – hair in ears, eye lids and lashes for eyes, lips to close mouth. They both had to have come from some other animal and adapted to their environment!
God and I laugh. 😀
Well, God did not say out loud to me to go check google, but the thought came from somewhere. I’ll guarantee you I would not have ask google whether camels have wax in their ears as a part of my morning routine.
About oneta hayes
Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

This made me laugh.
One thing that all writers seem to have in common – we are curious and enjoy learning new things. 🌷😁
Good. Love to share laughs. They say there has to be a some truth that makes things funny. You are right about curiosity of bloggers. Thanks for the comment.
God has a great sense of humour! hahahahhaha
I guess he built in us the ability to be humorous. Appreciate your comment.
You crack me up!!!
Love it. Hope your day has been good.
Hot— but good— today will be even hotter— I suspect much the same out in Oklahoma!!! ☀️🔥
Love your train of thought.
Sometimes I surprise myself with whatever road I take off on.. God is so surprisingly good. Nite, Kathy.
Thank for the humour and the belly laugh.
Thanks, Faye. I’m glad you take me as I am. But you know I trust you for balance. 😀
I once had a friend with Aspergers, who liked to classify people according to the animal they reminded him of. One fellow was like a goat, another like a bull dog, a sweet young girl made him think of a kitten.
One day I asked him which animal I reminded him of. “A giraffe,” was his immediate reply. I had expected to be told I was like a lion, because of my wild mane of hair.
Then I thought about it. Lots of freckles, a long neck, long legs. Giraffe it is! With a little lion thrown in. 😀
Haha! Yes, the best of both. Lacking hairy ears, of course. 😀
No hairy ears, but my ears are a little too big for the rest of my head. Thankfully, I have all that wild hair to keep my ears well hidden.
Our Creator God is awesome and amazing. Giraffes, Lions, and Big Ears, Oh My. It helps to keep me humble!
You have me smiling. Good night, Dear Lady.
