COUNT THE COST OF YOUR HATE

SO YOU DON’T LIKE HIM  YOU DON’T LIKE HIS PERSONA.

To prevent four more years of President Trump as President, you will choose to let our country become a one-party nation, run by Democrats?  The same party that runs Seattle, Washington, New York, Portland, and Minneapolis?  The party who can’t get a handle on killings of scores of black children every month in Chicago? How about the party that runs San Francisco?  You would like to follow their homeless model in your town?  How excited are you about having Social Workers take the place of police?  Your child hides under the bed and calls the police to come because dad is beating up mom.  A community volunteer appears at you door.

Guns will be confiscated and/or taxed so much, you can’t buy one.  You are watching TV when hoodlums kick in the door.  You’ll throw the remote at them?  And call 911, which is understaffed but they’ll get back with you just as soon as they find a volunteer social worker for the problem they are working on.  Good, huh.

Once power is placed in the hands of people who interpret the Constitution as a “living” document, there is very little chance of America remaining the land of the free.  Not after they stack the Court, take in other “states,” change the electoral college and do many other things that have NOT been done by President Trump and the Republican Senate.  They have the power to do that, you know.  But it won’t happen under this administration because they respect the Constitution and law and order, and —you, a citizen of the USA.

A MIGHTY HIGH PRICE TO PAY TO SHOW SOMEONE HOW MUCH YOU HATE HIM.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

I don’t understand the hate either. The US is still a democracy. In a democracy you get to vote for the candidate of your choice. Four years of hysteria, uncivilised behaviour and violence. Four years of attempting by various nefarious methods to upend what was the voters will. I don’t get it either.

  2. Frank Hubeny says:

Good points. Given Biden’s corruption it is irrational to be opposed to Trump.

  3. Amen, Oneta! Hatred just makes mess of things and it’s too big a burden for people to carry. Dump the hatred! Also, I’m fond of this country and would really like to keep her. 🙂

  4. (Are we even SUPPOSED to be hating ANYONE?)
The parable of the man with two sons in Matthew 21:28-32 keeps coming to mind. The man asked his sons to go work in the field. The first one said “NO!” but later obeyed. The second one said he would, but didn’t.
Do we want someone who has a “bad attitude” but accomplished good things for the country? Or someone who seems very nice on the surface, who will turn this country into something we won’t recognize as America? I wish we had a candidate who was polished and charming and did wonderful things, but that doesn’t seem, to be an option this time.

  5. oneta hayes says:

Actions speak much louder than words. I don’t really know where the “bad attitude” charge is coming from. Is a person who promotes America and doing what is best for America having a bad attitude? Who is the bully in this picture? President Trump is charged with everything bad and given credit for nothing good. He is charged with causing division in our country. It is overlooked that we were divided before he became President. Otherwise one half the country would not have voted for him. We were relatively united when Obama/Biden went in; divided when they went out, but P. Trump is blamed. Ninety percent of the news is against him! That’s would make me want to talk back. We are in the hand of God, either way. But God did give people what they demanded sometimes even when they were warned that they would be sorry.

  6. Debbie L says:

Amen!!! You’re right…..praying goodness prevails. But we know bad times are ahead. So Jesus come quickly!!!

    • oneta hayes says:

Thanks, Debbie. We would be very disappointed to lose our freedoms which we have so much taken for granted. I expect a traveling kind of life would really be whacked on under a Biden administration whose goal is to do away with fossil fuels. Good the Lord can be with us even if we are grounded. 😀

      • pranabaxom says:

For the good of the world alternatives to fossil fuels must be found.
In your “living constitution”, I do not see a right to burn fossil fuel to eternity and beyond. Or is it something that’s being contemplated by the Republicans.
Any living organism continues to grow, evolve and adept to changes. By your definition, the constitution will be a fossil. No wonder you love fossil fuel so much😀

        • oneta hayes says:

I love fossil fuel because I didn’t have to walk to the center this morning, and also because it makes possible my communication with you. Imagine my loss. I do not have a “living” constitution. I believe we live by what the originalists meant. They were wise to tell us how to modify and update. That is by amendments. Few want to put their radical ideas to the test of letting people vote. I’m really curious about how you reason. Hope the electricity stays on long enough to find out. Of course, in Democratic California, they schedule times to use electricity. Is it true that California has to turn off electricity for some people some time. I really don’t know since I don’t live there. Tell me about it. Under Biden we might be able to do that for a few years until his packed court is sufficiently in place.

          • pranabaxom says:

Ah, the originalist who thought it was wise not to give voting rights to women who were responsible to give birth to them in the first place.

            • oneta hayes says:

Oh, you mean that part of the Constitution that was corrected by the 19th Amendment brought about by women’s suffrage movement supported by Susan B. Anthony. The Amendment that was supported by 36 Republicans and joined by 20 Democrats. Please clarify that for me. 😀

        • oneta hayes says:

:Ah, it’s not the same Republican party any more much as Trump is no Abe Lincoln😀 I’m moving this remark up here so I can respond to it.” That is your comment about the facts I gave you regarding 19th Amendment. I gave you facts; you responded by your unfounded opinion. Have you read the Republican platform? If so, what parts to you disagree with?

      • Debbie L says:

Amen!!! It’s been Operation Chaos for 4 years… What a strategy and they are not letting up….

  7. Your post has made some excellent points, keep up the great work!

  8. pranabaxom says:

Yeah, we are trying our level best to rid the country of the one party rule of the Republicans hell bent on destroying all the democratic institutions and promote dictatorship of the rich.
Of course, the fraudster is hell bent on stealing the election by making it harder for people to exercise their rights so that he and his mind can have another shot at destroying the country.

    • oneta hayes says:

One party? Have you not heard of Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives? Note about your last statement. I note that you say “making it harder for people to exercise their rights.” The “people” are not US citizens. Show me any way he is limiting a citizen from voting. Perhaps no ID? Tell me what citizen of the US does not have ID? The walk I went out for renewed my energy but my fish is ready for me, so I’m outta here to eat. Your volley.

      • pranabaxom says:

The Republicans are making it harder for people who are citizens to vote.
Trump had the justice department in his pocket for the last two years at least though the AG before that also was his chosen one. Why not voting fraud could be proved. Because it was all a figment of imagination of Trump and his cronies, Fox news etc.

        • oneta hayes says:

On what evidence do you make these charges? I seriously doubt that you have watched much Fox News. Even if you do, remember that Trump still get more negative than positive press there. They are pretty good at letting people know both sides of the story. I watched MSNBC for a little bit today. Unbelievable! I am waiting for you to throw the slavery issue up to me for a lesson on who supported that even up to two or three decades ago. The Republicans making it harder for citizens to vote. Yes, I’m one of those. I don’t know anyone who does not carry an ID, or at lease has one available. Last time I worked in a day care center for homeless, they all seemed to be able to show ID if needed. Of course I didn’t ask them but I guessing they had some or they could not collect their checks.

          • pranabaxom says:

Going out of town for the week. So have to wait to reply to this.
            Stay safe and take care.
Don’t attend any Trump rally and wear your mask please😀

            • oneta hayes says:

Have a good week. I’m not a mask wearer, but I don’t go to Walmart. I carry a mask if I do need one. Seldom put it on. Can you believe a year ago that we would all be going through this stuff. But I’m not opposed to your wearing one, have a nice face covered week. One of the reasons I don’t buy the mask hysteria. Doesn’t matter what kind, just a face covering. Doubtful. It takes more than that in an operating room. But you were being nice to me and I started a rant. 😀

          • pranabaxom says:

I do watch Fox news but no Sean Hannity 😀

        • oneta hayes says:

This was your comment: “No way Jose😀. Tucker Carlson reporting about COVID is lying beyond belief. 85% of people wearing masks infected by COVID? Where does he get his facts?” — He did NOT say 85% of people wearing masks were infected by COVID. There is a big difference between “85% of people wearing masks infected by COVID” AND “85% of people infected by COVID wearing masks.” Should I call you a liar because you got it mixed up? Later he substantiated his statement thus:

Carlson cited a study conducted by 11 medical institutions that analyzed a group of people who tested positive for coronavirus during the month of July. The study found that among those who were infected, more than 70% reported they had “always” worn a mask over the preceding 14 days. Another 14.4% said they had “often” worn a mask.

70% +14.4% equals 84.4%. He should have rounded to 84% instead of 85%. For that you are calling him a liar. I’m not even calling you a liar when you completed misquoted his statement. I think you both made an honest mistake. But he was not being personally rude to anyone and his error was only in rounding up instead of down. I do have an article from which I got my information. https://www.foxnews.com/media/tucker-carlson-responds-cdc-mask-wearing

I’ve seen both sides show hate and both sides are corrupt. I don’t believe any news outlet is unbiased, so facts are skewed enough to sway opinions and boost ratings. So how can anyone in good faith pick a side?

    • oneta hayes says:

The people on the Republican side get charged; those on the Democratic side do not. Really the best way is to read the party platforms and see who you agree with. Part of the decision can be based on whether you want America to be her own master or if you want to be a part of a world system. There are stark contrasts between the parties. I in good faith and a considerable amount of study, have picked a side to support. I want the side that will continue to govern based on the Constitution. I don’t want the Supreme Court to make laws. Their duty is to decide whether or not the laws are Constitutional. Study it out and go vote. Try to counteract the vote of someone who knows nothing about it. Best to you.

      • heatherjo says:

I’m actually politically neutral for religious reasons but I find it interesting to read different perspectives. Best to you as well and be safe. I believe this election is going to bring more violence no matter who wins.

        • oneta hayes says:

If Trump wins there will likely be violence because the Democrat already have that ability in motion; just witness what has been happening. The Republicans do not have that kind of ability to pull off violence in multiple places. They have little strength in social news and none in national news. I have to go to the dentist in a bit so I’ll do much more blog reading until afternoon. Have a good day.
