REJUVENATION

Unfurl simple joy.

Seek solace in quiet time

Amidst season’s bliss.

Written for Ronovan’s challenge. Write haiku using words “open” and “solace” – I used synonym “unfurl” in the place of “open.” https://ronovanwrites.com/2020/12/21/ronovan-writes-weekly-haiku-poetry-prompt-challenge-337-open-and-solace/

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

You make me smile. It does look inviting even for a house plant like me.

It just started snowing here in the north Seattle, WA area–that’s early for us, as a rule. I’m praying God stays any serious weather overnight, as I have one last grocery shopping trip to make–a short walk up an incline 🙂 I’m a house plant too!! ❤

I went grocery shopping today. First time for a month or more except picking up a few items at the corner convenience where there were not so many people. I didn’t think it out well enough, or I would not have gone. I’m trying to stay away from possible covid spots. We are about to see what God is going to allow for us in a new year. I bounce from “It will be okay” to “bottoms not far away.” It is good to be invited to live in the shadow on is wings. Good night.

It will be okay BECAUSE we live in the shadow of HIS wings! ❤ I don't shop often–probably because I have to walk 🙂 Have a restful sleep dear heart ❤
