Many of my friends and me have a hard time when we do not see prayers answered in the way we think they should be. We say we believe God loves us and will work in our favor but we SEE no results that seem Godly. Why would he allow a new administration who will allow more pre-born babies to be murdered? As well as other evil acts as we see them. We prayed.
From what I see, God allows the will of man to determine what happens to one’s culture and government in almost all circumstances. Free will.
I Samuel 8 relates how the people of Israel decided they did not want to have God lead them through his prophets. They said, “Give us a king to lead us.” After some debate between Samuel, the people, and the Lord, God said to Samuel “okay, tell them they can have a king.” Then he predicted what they would have to live with under the leadership of a king, as follows:
11He said, “This will be the procedure of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and place them for himself in his chariots and among his horsemen and they will run before his chariots. 12“He will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and of fifties, and some to do his plowing and to reap his harvest and to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13“He will also take your daughters for perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14“He will take the best of your fields and your vineyards and your olive groves and give them to his servants. 15“He will take a tenth of your seed and of your vineyards and give to his officers and to his servants. 16“He will also take your male servants and your female servants and your best young men and your donkeys and use them for his work. 17“He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his servants. 18“Then you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.”
We do not always get what God knows is best for us. Sometimes He lets us have what we (the population) demand. Especially when his minister’s pray in the name of a monotheistic god of many names and faiths. God says (my interpretation) “Go ahead and have any god you want, but that is the god you will be praying to. You’ll see how he answers your prayers.” and in Isaiah 45:20b “Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save.”
America is getting the administration it demanded. She will pay the price for it. The price is big government (vs 11-13), taxes (15 & 17), socialism (14). Seems God thinks 10% taxes was too much! Everything here revolves around the king/government. And God has pretty much been “kicked out.”

Yes, lots of this info around. I don’t believe it. But I do believe it is playing into Pelosi’s hands. Nothing she would like better to use this rumor/gossip/plan to try to prove Pres. Trump needs to be impeached. These Trump supporters are doing him a terrible disservice.

Where did you get your information that made you think that Biden won’t be president? If you are a law abiding citizen, then you should share that information with the authorities immediately. That is your responsibility as a citizen.
You can look it up. I’m not going to. There is no way I know anything that the big tech companies and the Dems don’t know about anything negative among the Trump supporters. And what about the guy who instigated the crowd to move to the Capitol and who refused to activate the National Guards even after the rioters entered the Capitol building knowing fully well that his deputy and his family was in that building at that time.

Pranab, I’m not understanding some of this. We are both public. Difference is you say what the media, et al. want said. I am in the ones who are being locked out. I almost know that you do not think that is fair, but… As for the damage and violence of Jan 6, I’m terribly critical of that just as I have been about all the rest of the lootings, riotings, killings, and burning out business that has been taking place for a good many months or years by the ones who were supported by the Dems and media. You know the ones “Protests were mostly peaceful.” We were told. With the Jan. 6 it was obvious that the “protest was mostly peaceful.” A major difference was a security guard shooting an unarmed woman for pounding on a window! In many places the law enforcement was told to “stand down” durin the “mostly peaceful” protests. You’re on the winning side. Peace should be easy for you.
This is where the alternate reality comes in. A crowd instigated by the POTUS to march to the Capitol. To do what? Stop a democratic process being followed. After losing sixty plus cases in the courts where lawyers did not even file briefs because they did not have a case.
Or are you suggesting that the law is only fair when it suits you?
What business that unarmed person had to break down the barriers and trespassing? Is not that an insurrection?
If that crowd would have been a group of colored people, will you be singing the same song now?
The POTUS had failed in his duties and he has blood in his hand. Period.
And this time everything was in TV. The hammers, the noose, the plastic restraints, the pipe bombs, the truck with explosives and a leader refusing to call the National Guards even when the life of his deputy and his family was in danger. Just despicable and for the whole world to see. He brought down the image of the country in front of the whole world to see in real time.
What happened to his famous utterance, “Shooting starts when the looting starts”. Oh, I forgot. All the people that we saw in TV including FOX (I do not subscribe to Newsmax, the new source of the right wing extremists) were white. Color of skin does matter. They were loved and they were special. Hypocrisy at its worst display.
Note to Pranab and to Frank. Today was the first day that gmail (google, I guess) apparently censored my email. I did not get notification from Frank on my account. I found it here on my blog.. I wonder what else I’m not getting. Strange that that has never happened under the “despot” Trump. Big Buddy is present all right. We are already finding out what happens to our (conservatives) right to free speech. Who believes Biden and Harris will shut down free speech for the liberals? Pranab, did you raise your hand? But for the grace of “GOD”, (and yes everyone can choose his or hers), the violent mob instigated by the king could have hanged the VP and Speaker of the House on January 6 and steal the electoral college ballot boxes to cause chaos.
