AFRAID OF THE VACCINE?

You don’t trust the vaccine because it was done so “speedily?” Others have taken years? Yes, Pres. Trump put that on front burner, the budget was sky high, the pressure for competition between pharmaceuticals – and nations – tremendous. The red tape was cut. It was developed with efficiency that hasn’t happened in a government project ever before! Give him credit and take the vaccine if that is your only reason. It is a lesson that proves government can work if you have someone – President Trump – who knows how to work it.

I wrote this a couple weeks ago. Been hanging on to it. Now it is obsolete because Nancy just proved something could be done faster! Impeachment in one day!

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

Take your vaccine first, then we shall have time to cross swords to discuss.
    Take care and stay safe.
Glad to know that you are not anti vaccine.
Seems like in India my friends and relatives will be vaccinated before I get my vaccine here.

I’m sure my husband and I could get one but we haven’t investigated the matter as yet. I have an appt with my primary doctor in a couple weeks. I’m sure she will ask me about it. I will likely do as she recommends.

Take it as soon as it becomes available.
I haven’t heard anything from my HMO but hoping that should get it soon as it is now approved for any one above sixty five.

Thank you. I hope you are well, Rebecca. I don’t see you often. I guess you are still teaching and staying busy. Has covid hampered you lifestyle? Most likely. It has been most troublesome to me because of cutting off a lot of church activities.

I give thanks to God for sense in GOVT and health services here. NO NEED for rushing. If you are high risk or in danger of dying you may be first but not until all vaccines are thoroughly trialled and then a decision of what is the best for use and for the other nations as well, We learnt the lesson of the Salk vaccine well and also the dreadful after first world war Spanish flu and trusting other scientists to give us ……down under……… the BEST. not so. NOw we trust our own . I will not refuse the vaccine but I’M Happy to wait until March. I may die from something else in the meantime. NO vaccine will give you assurance of a longer life. many in India and CHINA died on their way home from getting a jab. They died from crashes and incidents that if they had ;stayed home’ would have lengthened their life, Peace! Patience! and Common Sense! No vaccine will give you these qualities. P E A C E!

Thanks for information and your understanding of the situation in your homeland. I’m basically like you. I don’t want a vaccine from another country, but I trust the ones here. Liability is so high in our country for such errors, I don’t believe companies would run the risk of error.
