This post is part of SoCS: https://lindaghill.com/2021/04/23/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-april-24-2021/ Aim of SoCS challenge, write something that this sound brings to mind, oop, write with little editing or planning.
“oop” sound. Of course the first things to my mind is “oops” a word I seem to use more than an average person should. 😀 Maybe that is because I don’t curse, even mildly.
Maybe I’m not average, but I’m not accident prone. Even though I knocked a frozen jar of left-over pasta sauce out of the freezer yesterday. Caused a mess particularly, because the glass bottom shattered but the sides, although broken, held the goopy sauce inside until melted enough to drop out. Therefore, I had to pick up the broken jar to put it in the sink to let it melt until the sauce came out but I didn’t want any broken pieces to go down the sink lest I have to reach in the garbage disposal to pull out the glass almost guaranteeing that I would get cut. That’s always a little iffy since I take Warfarin. On hindsight it would have been wise to pick it up and put it in a pan while it melted. Why is hindsight so good?
Now I realize I could have used one of the super spatulas – not a super dipper – to scoop up the soupy sauce. Didn’t think of that. Sometimes I’m a nincompoop. 😀 I hope I cope better in most cases. Oops, wrong sound. Why can’t I use that sound? That question is moot to this weekly scoop.

I have not written a SoCS entry for almost three years. I’ll try to do it more often; kinda fun. Thanks to the Linda. https://lindaghill.com/2021/04/23/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-april-24-2021/
Haha! Hindsight can be a frustrating thing.
It always comes too late, doesn’t it? 😀
