WAITING

“Looks like fun goes on down there.”

“I wonder whether my mom and dad are at the party.”

“What makes us think we even have a mom and dad?”

Such statements could be heard among all the little personalities who were observing earth from their Waiting Station in Heaven. Little girl babies in their pink auras; little boy babies in the blue.

“I heard someone say I will be a man like my dad.”

“They call that a gender on earth.”

“Those of us in pink will be girls.”

So the waiting game goes on in Heaven as well as on Earth.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

As it is on earth, so it is in heaven. A lovely tale

Thank you. You lost me on yours, Neil. Too sci-fi for my understanding. 😀 I’m more simple as I’m sure you know by now. I’m on to you most weeks, however. We’ll see what comes today.

lovely story but I don’t believe there will be marriage or gender in heaven. Different perspectives on everything. Only God and worship of HIM.

I agree no marriage in Heaven. I don’t think I indicated there would be. However, I do believe we will still know each other as a spouse on earth, a child, a grandmother or whatever. Although gender will not matter in Heaven, I believe we will still see Moses as a male and Mart as a female, etc. I’m a simple minded person; if God presents Himself as Father, I think He does not mind me believing He is Father – a male. I might need more education than you will need when we get to Heaven. Yes, education. I don’t believe we will be all knowing when we get to there. But the purpose for the story, was that there are only two genders here, and that aborted babies have spirits. There are not just un-gendered blobs. I think you will agree with my purpose. Sorry if I missed.
