What do you think will happen to our insurance rates now that firemen are quitting or being fired because of the covid mandates?

One of the funniest things I’ve seen is the meme of the liberal dad who is cheering for his football playing son named Brandon. “Make Haste, Brandon” Thanks to Babylon Bee probably, I don’t really know who started this.

I received some sweet confirming comments on my post about little girls. I will continue to hold my doll during my prayer time for a few days, but I have realized how we can begin to shift our faith from that which is unseen, faith in Christ, to that which is seen. So I will not keep the doll much longer. I hope to keep the little girls in my memory and prayers. God will show me what to do next with the doll. Maybe give her away in my Christmas box to go to someone who will also love her.

The thought above (about the doll) leads me to the amazing creativity of the Lord. He will keep the new coming in when we let the old go out.

Janet Yellen, Secretary of Treasury, tries to explain why inflation is a good thing!  Printing more money will make us better off.  She must think I’m like a little child who will gladly trade me his old quarter for 17 shiny pennies. And I will end with a Highlight of my week!

Pranab and his wife, Ranju, dropped by to see Sammy and me. They were returning home to California near the end of their 35 day tour and hit Highway 40 coming within five miles of our house. Some of you have noticed how Pranab and I interact with each other on the blog. We are the best of friendly foes! I jab with I get a chance and he does the same!

Picture time.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

Hey, I didn’t jab you. I gave you the bear hug. You should have shared that photo.
It was so good to see you and Sammy. Always shall cherish those two hours at your home.
The bearded guy does work in mysterious way😀.

I considered the bear hug but I was afraid it would draw too many folks to your side in case we have another go around in the ring. 😀 That’s not true. I really just didn’t like my pic. Maybe I will look it over again some time. And I didn’t find you mysterious at all; but you are rather young for the beard. Jab, jab.
