I’ve been fighting back with all four feet in a manner of speaking. But it came right on into my dwelling place. I haven’t been terribly, painfully, sick but it takes all I can do to get any kind of “move on.” Yes, I wrote of the Covid Fear on Jan. 11. I guess it had already snuck it’s way in at that time. Sammy and I have been diligent about staying in and keeping the virus “holed” up here. I do have cabin fever!
We haven’t demonstrated many of the symptoms as found on the Covid19 charts. We are congested but do not have any trouble breathing. Good thing for me. My doctor is “out to lunch” when it comes to getting any help from her! Roger and Renee are very helpful and keep us medicated with wisdom and intelligence.
I think we have probably had the Omicron variant. I’ve had a low fever, but no headaches, sore throat, or breathing difficulties.
I’ve read four novels by Linda Nichols. Enjoyed them all. Lost a lot of weight because I don’t have much appetite. Found the precious Spirit of the Lord has been close. But he has not granted an answer which I would have liked; you know the “make it all go away” prayer.
I might be a while getting back to you but I did want to explain my absence. I just dumped over a thousand e-mail notifications. Had to give up on my reading. I know I passed on a lot of good posts, but cannot do justice with this mindset I have right now.
Hope you are all doing well. God is good. And He doesn’t make mistakes. Wish I could say as much for our USA Government. Maybe it is good that the country is sort of slowed down for a time. Who knows?
Praying for you and Sammy!!!!
Thank you. Sammy is having more problems (headache) today.
I’m sorry Oneta— praying for you both!!!
thank you.
Prayers for full recovery. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I appreciate your prayers. Thanks for caring.
I don’t ‘like’ that you’ve been ill, but I like seeing your smiling face. Be well, and stay warm. Here’s a little something that may give you another smile: a video of a squirrel that over-indulged in fermented crab apples! Nothing bad happens to the squirrel, but I’ve watched it a half dozen times and always end up laughing!
Yes, that was funny. Worth a little time out to appreciate a drunk — squirrel. Thanks.
Hope you all feel better really soon, break out the vicks vapo rub, and liniment……in hot water and breath that in…..GOD BLESS
You almost make it sound good. I’m a shower-only person. Can’t step over the sides of a tub. A Vick’s Vapor Rub does sound enticing. I guess I have some in the house someplace. Although I haven’t seen any in a long time.
oh my I almost cracked…lol..hahahhhahaha.I would not get in a tub with vicks either lol. I melt it in a bowl of water….or just rub it on my chest and back……lol Have a great day!
God bless you, Oneta and feel better soon! You are missed around here. 🙂
And I miss my three thousand mile away neighbors! Thanks for the blessings. Thankfully they reach into my dwellings also.
So sorry to hear you have been bitten by the virus. I went through it from a week before Thanksgiving to a week before Christmas. I had all shots except the booster. Recovered well at home. Paul has been in the hospital for a week now with a different issue, but he also tested positive for covid so the doctor thinks he must’ve had it when I did. He doesn’t have any of the symptoms, but they say if you have it you can test positive for up to 3 months after you get it. I’n so glad you’re on the mend. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen you, but thought you might just be taking a break. Give my best to Sammy as well and know that God still has work for you to do.
Thank you. I don’t at all feel “finished.” Smiling. Sorry about Paul’s issues. I will trust and pray with you. I don’t what to think about how to know when this has run its course. Last CDC report said five days – two before symptoms and three after = were when one needed to be quarantined. Yeah. I believe that like I believe all the rest of “the wisdom of the wise.”
Oneta, I hope you’re feeling well today. My husband and I had it, too, but I never got to the part where I ask the Lord to “make it stop!” I know how well those don’t work. 😏 (And it’s just as well, since He’s a lot smarter than I am.) I did ask Him what He wanted me to do with all that time, and ended up praying, resting, and writing. I got way ahead on my blog posts, resisting the urge to post them all. I’m sticking to one post a week, and for once in a long time, I won’t be frantically finishing my posts on the day of. Now if I get busy with the grandchildren I can focus on them only. 😉❤️
Blessings,
Annie
Your way of dealing with this sounds way to go! I am so lonesome for my grands. They have been hit it too. But they have had a lot of stomach problems with it. That’s bad.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks for your concern, Yinglan. Hope you are still improving from your surgery.
Thank you, getting there though the date for my next surgery is looming.
Praying for a quick recovery!
Thank you, Dee. God is concerned with what concerns us. We are wise to remember that.
Praying for a smooth recovery for your household.
I thank you, Marques. Hope your family has remained well through these trying times.
Praying for you dear sister. You are missed.
Blessings.
Thanks, Michael. I have a birthday coming up Monday. I’ll try to celebrate the day with my blogger friends.
Hope you’re feeling better. Xx
Better. Weak – or lazy. 😀
Hope y’all are feeling much better now. ❤
Thank you. I will go to the Doc. Tues. Maybe I can learn to fly again. 😀
Glad to hear that you got through it.
I think so. I just don’t know how long is really long enough. My husband went out today, but I’m waiting until next week.
Dear friend,
I’m so sorry you have been sick. I pray you and Sammy both are doing a lot better and recovered or nearly so.
Prayers for you both.
Blessings~❄
Take care and get well. The Lord heals you. I hope you are completely well now. 🙏🏻
