I FOUND THE MYSTERY CHILD

Remember the mystery child I posted under “Untold – and Lost” in December. https://onetahayes.com/2021/12/20/untold-and-lost/ Many of you guessed that she might have been me. I guess that would be honest genes – at least to an extent. She is my great-granddaughter. Her mother had no problem remembering when and where. The outside picture was taken behind their stucco garage wall. Second picture was taken at Christmas time, ’21.

Since I am writing this for Lindaghill prompt “let go” I will continue a bit of that day. We had such a fun time playing a game that was new to us. It was called “Blank Slate.” A very good family game since Chloe and Kate (younger) could hold their own. I believe Chloe might have tied for a win. I’m not sure. But I recommend it.

What else can I “let go” on about this subject? I guess my Stream of Consciousness has dried up. So Good bye to Linda and all the gang. See you.

https://lindaghill.com/ Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “let go.” Write about the first thing that comes to mind when you think “let go.” Enjoy!

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...
