JESUS LOVES ME

In rating months, say zero to ten, I’d say January was not a ten, nor a seven, nor a five, nor…. Enough of that; you have the idea. But, hold it there. I’m speaking from an earthly standpoint. Maybe I pulled in great ratings on patience. Who knows? My Lord does.

I would definitely say my January was “stale.” After lying down, arranging my pillows just right so I would not re-rip out a sore on my arm, I hugged the pillow and said, “Lord, it is hard to think of something special for you as my “good-night” message. I’m tired, and bored.” Suddenly a song came to me, “Jesus Loves Me, This I know; for the Bible tells me so.”

What more did I need to feel fresh, and good, and like a child (even if 88) swept up and hugged in the arms of Jesus!

HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU ALL. DON’T FORGET JESUS CHRIST IS OUR WAY TO THE FATHER.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

  1. Oneta, this song will always be relevant. We are weak, but He is strong! We’re never too old to lie in His arms and let Him love us. 💕

I always liked that song! Wishing you a happy Sunday! ❤

  4. I love this! And will remember it when I’m “tired and bored” and can’t seem to pray at the end of the day. 💕

  5. Wise Hearted says:

He certainly loves me more than I love Him. The older I get and I am sure you will agree, His love becomes everything and I become nothing. I am weak but He is strong…my love is weak also but His is unbreakable. Will pray for a quick healing. At 75 I notice how thin my skin is becoming, seems almost daily. blessings.
