Once upon a time about twenty-thirty hours ago there was a Day named Tuesday. Trying to be original, this blogger -me- decided to do a post called Tuesday Two-fers! It failed on several counts.
I can seldom remember a “2 for the price of 1” that I believe was not a jacked-up price for the first one. Or it was a way of ridding inventory on items that had lost their zip.
About the time I was ready to cry “uncle” I remembered that the greatest bargain I ever made was a “Two for One” deal. Accept Jesus and receive the Father also. Yes. And it has to be in that order, there is no way to receive the Father without having the Son first. Then the most amazing thing opened to my brain. You will also receive Another. He is known as the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit and He is the One who works the whole thing out for us.

I recall my sis-in-law once noticing a coat-rack at the front of a Nathan’s Furniture in AZ that she thought would look nice in her entry, but seemed to expensive. So she went by almost every week, waiting for a sale. One day, it was gone from the front of the store, but she found it at the back of the store… with a significant price hike! She thought it strange they would almost hide it at the rear with an increase in price… until the next week it was back at the front, with a big red SALE sticker, “REDUCED,” and she thought, Now I can buy it. BUT the price was more than it had been for the weeks she had been watching it!! 😲
You give me great material for my blog. Hope others read this comment. I believed it but did not have first/second-hand knowledge. What a scheme. But of course, nobody was lying!
