Good day, Listening Audience, this is Stella Shellingham, bringing you Local Happenings, your first news responders.
This playground is being established to…….WHAT HAPPENED? I kid you not, there were about fifteen children here; they have all disappeared!! Calling home base, calling, calling….NEWSFLASH: CHILDREN HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM PLAYGROUND!
Listeners, this is no joke, no fake news for ratings. I saw them; now they are gone. Perhaps it is tied in with recent reports about UFO’s. Or perhaps, as many Christians believe, they have gone in a “Rapture.” My dad predicted that. I’m about to faint… send help…..

ABOUT ME
Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...
I read a small pamphlet many years ago called, “A World Without Children” by C.M. Ward, based on the idea that anyone who had not reached an age of accountability would disappear in the rapture of the church. A fascinating and challenging thought, but Father loves the “little ones.” (Mark 9:42)
❤️& 🙏, c.a.
I am planning to deal with this subject Sunday. I’m sure you will be checking me and I value your input either by comment, or inject some wisdom to be included. Thanks.
I did read your link. I agree. I have a previous post regarding “Innocents” not being in Hell. This would include babies and small children as you cite, but I place many others among the innocents whose blood Jesus covers. I do not believe one goes to Hell just because he is born an offspring of Adam. For example, one whose mental capacity does not allow him/her to know the difference in right and wrong. Your article did not deal with the “rapture” of children. That is the detail I opened with “No Fake News.”
Oh I can totally see this happening in my head and I was laughing along. 😄 Just hope it doesn’t happen in real life but… Who knows? Anyway, enjoyed this one. 🙂
I want to pay tribute to wonderful people I have known, the wonderful country in which I live, the communities in which I have lived, the churches who have claimed me as their own, the God who sends shivers down my back when I really give him a portion of my time—well, maybe not shivers but tears flow easily in some of those most priceless times.

Well said. 😉

I’m sure you are laughing at the effect on the reporter. Poor lady. Almost more than she could deal with. 😀
Yeah, that’s who I was laughing at – the reporter. What’s happening with the children is no laughing matter.
Oneta, I love this take on the prompt. Well-written, good point of view.
Thanks. I always love getting a thumbs-up from you. Hope you will read my post this Sunday on this subject. I’d like your opinion.
I’ll loo for it 🙂
Oh no, the children are gone. That would be a sad world! Great suspense.
I’m glad it grabbed your attention. See you tomorrow maybe with more on the subject of “raptured” children.
Wow. What a scary concept! Well told.
I wonder where they went and if they’ll ever come back
Dear Oneta,
This could open a wealth of discussion.
Shalom,
Rochelle
