Matthew 24:4-28 Jesus spoke about signs. He indicated that floods, earthquakes, wars, rumors between nations would not be significant signs because they always are and always have been. Now we have a lot of statistics that might show increased trouble of that kind, but they would not have understood at that time. As we do not understand some things now.

Another issue I have just recently come across is recorded in Luke, Jesus’ words. “upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity” (Luke 21:25) I know that Jesus taught for us not to worry about what to eat, drink, or wear, so if he is not talking about physical kinds of things, what “perplexity” is he warning against. Some hot under my collar right now are the crew predicting that climate change is going to kill us; if it doesn’t get us, Covid will; or if Covid doesn’t do it, the “shots” will. But I believe Jesus was talking more about “soul” issues like the destruction of families, racial strife, gender dysfunction and sexual perversions, dysfunction, and other evil brought about by the Woke movement.

What about inflation and lack of food? Yes, I do believe that is a sign of perilous times. They are a forerunner to a great number of deaths in the tribulation.
