It is necessary for a positive quality of life for a person to believe he is here for a purpose. Write a book, sing a song, plow a field, be a dad, be a caretaker, bake some biscuits, have a business which pays others enough money to take care of their purpose. If you are feeling down, empty, without purpose or resources, think again. You still have more to give.
The following was written by my nephew, Teral Crawford, as a Face Book status. I’m sharing with his permission.
A few days ago, I was trying to squeeze out a bit more shampoo from it’s plastic container and gave up and used some of Dee’s. I then turned my bottle upside down. I used it the next morning and every morning since. I even went out and bought a replacement bottle, but have not needed to open it yet.
I say all that to say that when you feel like your world… or yourself has been shaken, squeezed and turned upside down, that may just be the beginning of the effort to see how much is still left in you that can still be poured out and used for good.
I believe regardless of circumstance that we all have more to give.
Amen! What inspiration. that was very poetic what your grandson said. Could I ask you how long have you been blogging?
Check my archives to see my past blogging history. Thanks for your interest. I began blogging a little bit in 2014 after a serious health issue made me have to find something I could do at home. The Lord taught me how.
You have such faith. You even say the Lord taught me how. That’s strong. I wish I had that faith back in the day. The Lord provided lessons for me to write. The Lord was the one who helped me to make this blog. Could I ask how long it took you for your blog to receive lot’s of traffic?
If you feel your blogging is a ministry, you should ignore your stats. I do not have a lot of active followers, generally about 30 to 40 per day. Generally fifteen or so respond. BUT I write for the purpose of reaching one with a message from the Holy Spirit. Part of that is because I do not have time to read, like, and comment on many. I just think of my blogging community as a nice sized Sunday School class with lots on interaction between its members. I hope you can find the level at which you are comfortable and where you can interact in a way that is an encouragement and inspiration to your blogging friends.
