I want to pay tribute to wonderful people I have known, the wonderful country in which I live, the communities in which I have lived, the churches who have claimed me as their own, the God who sends shivers down my back when I really give him a portion of my time—well, maybe not shivers but tears flow easily in some of those most priceless times.

SANCTUARY
Most of you know I’m pretty “churchy,” and I am quite traditional about it. After a reading of Psalms 26 and 27, I am again reminded of how delighted I am to be able to go to the “house of … Continue reading

CATHEDRAL vs upper room
“Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord. How we sometimes knock ourselves out to be the biggest, richest, friendliest, most talented, most caring, most influential and most effective voice for Jesus! And … Continue reading

SANCTIFICATION wrap up
Allow me to visualize the sanctification experience as somewhat like this – a greatly simplified scenario. When John Doe is born again, the redeemer, Jehovah-jireh, atones for John’s sins. Although John might sin after his rebirth, God views John through … Continue reading
