I want to pay tribute to wonderful people I have known, the wonderful country in which I live, the communities in which I have lived, the churches who have claimed me as their own, the God who sends shivers down my back when I really give him a portion of my time—well, maybe not shivers but tears flow easily in some of those most priceless times.

REJUVENATION
Unfurl simple joy. Seek solace in quiet time Amidst season’s bliss. Written for Ronovan’s challenge. Write haiku using words “open” and “solace” – I used synonym “unfurl” in the place of “open.” https://ronovanwrites.com/2020/12/21/ronovan-writes-weekly-haiku-poetry-prompt-challenge-337-open-and-solace/ Image: Simon Robbin, pexels.com

PEACE not PANIC
I posted this three years ago. I believe it bears repeating. The very fact that God revealed himself as Jehovah-shalom (the God of Peace) indicates that his plan is to be with one in trouble instead of insulating … Continue reading

“He (Moses) longed for more than “visitation”; his soul longed for “habitation”. (Tommy Tenney) Let us rejoice that WE have what Moses was longing for—the habitation of the spirit of God as promised by Jesus in John 14:16 and 16:7—the … Continue reading
