  8. Wow like your favorite pursuit in life ”A genuine love for and relationship with Jesus”
Every relationship for a Christian is an opportunity to love another person like God has loved us.
    GOD bless you.

Thanks for commenting. I’m sure I will be blessed by reading more of your thoughts also. It is true that God expects us to pass along his love not just fill up like containers.

Hey there, girlfriend! Have you read The Red Tent?

        • oneta hayes says:

Yes, I have. Enjoyed it. It was packed with a look into traditions of the Old Testament times, that is, the Patriarchal Period. What do you think of it? I have tried to find other books by Anita Diamant, but don’t remember whether or not I’ve read others. I need to check again now that I have kindle and can increase font size. I passed up some good books because of small font. Let me know if you have read others that impressed you.

Hello granma Neta, I am so blessed to meet you. I can see that I will be greatly blessed and will be growing spiritually by just being around your posts and blog. I have so many questions and I am in such an awkward stage in my life that I would rather just roam around searching for answers. I’m sure you came into my life for a reason. Greetings from my side and much love to your side.
    Chanty

Oneta, I’m totally confused but not sure how or why I wasn’t following you on your blog. There’s never been a time when I unfollowed you. I’m not sure how many of your posts I missed but I will backtrack to see. So sorry! Not sure how this even happened, especially when I’m still getting your recent blog posts in my emails.

  16. Laura says:

Thank you, my friend! I always enjoy yours,as well. 😃

With the water works it took me a few days to get here. Thank you for your comments, etc. I’ve enjoyed meeting you and reading a bit here. Peace!

With my computer woes during the last month, I have lost quite a bit of communication with folks. Seems like I am about to get on top again. If that happens, I will be weeing more of you. I believe I have marked your follow, if not, I will get there before long. Thanks for the comment. I don’t know where your “water works” are, but I’ve been seeing news about such goings-on in several places. Perhaps here (Okla. City) this weekend, they say.

Oneta, are you all right? You have not posted for a while, and I was wondering.

    • oneta hayes says:

Thanks for checking, Judy. I took a fall on Sept. 12. Been in hospital and rehab. Just beginning to focus on blog bit. I’ve made great improvement but have a way to go before I get out of here. Just have kindle; not very conclusive to post blogs. I may try an update to everyone in a few days. 😀

  19. Your words really blessed me tonight, thank you. Although I’m going through a tough time currently, I completely agree with what you said about having an intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus–there’s nothing, NOTHING like it, and no one like HIM. God bless you richly ❤

Happy to meet you. You should consider joining the Senior Salon on Wednesdays.

Aw, Shucks, Roo. You started way ahead of most. Rather a serious post compared to my lightness, but I told you I was treading lightly. I was scared to take a noble stand! Really I did benefit from reading your debut. Do the next simple “kind” thing. A good motto. Your blog said comments closed so I’m glad for this place the respond. See you. 😀

  22. Hello Oneta. Nice to meet you, and thanks for stopping by my blog site 🙂 I’ll be following you too! Take care. Carly

Haven’t been around for awhile. I need to go through and cut out some of the blogs I’m following in my reader ’cause I’m just not getting to them all. Sigh… So many good blogs. So little time! But I just saw your new picture. It’s gorgeous! Just wanted to tell you! You’re as lovely outside as you are inside!

  25. oneta hayes says:

I didn’t get through with my comment but putting in the “smiley” messed me up and I couldn’t get out without giving up, I wanted to change that awful “had fell” to had fallen but here I am – an English teacher with that Oopsie – much to my chagrin, good to hear from you. And thanks for the sweet personal words.

  26. Equipping says:

A wonderful article that you have posted! Please keep up your good work.

  27. Oneta, I am seeing this “About” page for the first time. I noticed your comment about the Canadian truckers and wondered if you yourself live in Canada…
Since you said you like Christian fiction, I was wondering if you would like to read my trilogy, “Awakening”? I would love to send you a set as a “Thank you” for all your posts that have blessed me these past few years. If you are interested, you can email me at bascha3870@yahoo.com. Write “Trilogy” in the subject line, so I know it’s you and not some spammer or scammer. 😉
