Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). Really? I thought your family was responsible for taking care of your remaining debt. Well THAT takes a load off my mind!
Here the spouse might be responsibility, but if there is nothing left to heirs, I know of no other resource to collect from. But my post should not be taken as advice from a lawyer! I haven’t died yet. I don’t really know what happens. 😀 Actually I did receive assets from my dad and mom, but they had everything done up right and owed no one.
I don’t know if I should laugh or not ‘cos it’s funny and sad at the same time. Well, the debt collectors won’t hassle him anymore.
I think I meant it to be funny but then I’m not a debt collector! 😀
