ABOUT ME
Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...
if this is truth and not a fiction entry in a competition I can comment and will truthfully say IT sounds like it HAS BEEN A REALLY LIVED WEEK. I do hope on day 8 you find yourself feeling again whole in body mind and spirit. Blessings! Peace! Love! F.
Oh, Dear Friend, it is the truth. It has now started bleeding again. I’m seeking people to pray for me. I’m confident you will do so. Thanks.
I will pray for you too Mrs. Hayes
Also… I have been responding to your comments.
Maybe check the spam section of your comments. (Maybe my responses ended up there somehow).
Thanks, Lee, for the prayers and for the comments. I’ll check spam.
You’re welcome, and I have prayed for you this mornin.
And in case you can’t find my replies to you, below is the post where you asked my opinion, and you will find my response there in the comments.
(As well as a question that I asked you).
Enjoy…

Also, I frequently delete comments after I perceive that a conversation is finished. (I have been doing this for a long time).
I’m just letting you know in case you go back to a comment, to find that it no longer exists.
It’s just how I think.
It’s kinda like if you and I are having a conversation about someone, I wouldn’t tape record it and rebroadcast it perpetually on a loop.
I meant to type “something,” not “someone.” 🙂
Praying Oneta!!!!!!!
Thanks, Julie. I’m much better this morning after a so-so night. No blood right now.
You’ve been through the ringer— time to come out healed up!!!
Amen! 😀
Bless your resilience
This morning I’m on top, thankfully. Thanks Maria.
Praise God for the eighth day. Sounds like an awful week. May the next one be much better❤️
Much better this morning. I’m not sure it is over but I’m not bleeding right now. Thanks, Faye.
Ohhh, I hope you begin to feel better. 🙏🏼❤️
Thanks, Alexis. I am much better this morning. Maybe it is over – I’m sure it will not be bad if it shows up later. Thanks for prayers.
Oh my goodness! I hope you are doing better! Injections of Lovenox?
Yes, it was Lovenox plus warfarin. Over done for sure. I followed the orders as they said. I was off a sufficient amount of time (INR 1.3) but something happened in the surgery. I started bleeding profusely – eleven hours before it stopped in the ER…. A lot of stuff overdone. Well, it is a good morning. Woke to a bloody mouth but there is no blood now. Thanks.
I’m so glad you’re better! I take xarelto which is a newer blood thinner than Coumadin, and I rarely have to bridge anymore with Lovenox. It is a pain for sure!
I can’t take xarelto because I have an artificial aorta valve. If I don’t bleed today, I will take the warfarin tomorrow then go to the lab Monday and see what happens. Hope you continue to do well.
Thanks, you, too! I take xarelto because of a genetic clotting disorder called Factor V Leiden. Coumadin was what I started on but my levels were all over the place so they switched me a few years ago.
Glad it has worked for you. I’ve had a good day.
I hate to ‘like’ a post filled with troubles, but wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and hope this week is MUCH better!!!
Thanks, Pam. It is looking up. Bloody mouth when I woke but no blood now.
May it continue!!!
Not fun. God bless you with healing, and with patience for the healing process. J.
It has been a good day. Thanks for prayer.
Oh my word, Oneta! Sounds pretty awful and scary. Hope all is under control for you now. Prayers for speedy recovery.
Bleeding has stopped; clotting too dangerous; go back on Lovenox for a couple of days. Thanks for the prayers.
Oy! I just came back from the dentist (repair of a cracked tooth), but your experience sounds far worse than mine!
It is still a mess. Trying to get my INR number back in range. Prayers are appreciated.
Praying for a much better week for you this week. 🙂
It’s better. Everybody is trying to get me leveled out so I can go on my cruise as planned. Need to leave home Thursday. Hopefully it’s ships ahoy. 😀
