THE END IS NOT FINAL

death

Spirit soars freely;

Life escapes this skin cocoon;

Flesh turns to ashes.

death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  I Corinthians 15:55-57

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). To some I’m more like “Didn’t you used to be my teacher?” or “Don’t I know you from someplace?” To you, perhaps, I am a Fellow Blogger. Not “fellow” like a male or a guy, but “fellow” like a companion or an adventurer. I would choose to be Grandma Blogger, and have you pull up a chair, my website before you, while I tell you of some days of yore. I have experienced life much differently than most of you. It was and is a good life. I hope to share nuggets of appreciation for those who have gone before me and those who come after me. By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Take what we can, particularly the things that bless and strengthen us; leave behind the garbage as much as possible. Of course we might have to take some garbage that still needs to be recycled. I have great vision for 2020. May you dreams come true – day dreams that is.

    A beautiful thought…

    May the New Year be the start of the best years of your life.

    Here’s to many more New Years for both of us. I think God still has something in mind for us to do in life, but oh what joy He will bring when it’s over. Happy New Year, my friend.

      Thank you, Kathy. Yes, it is good to have faith that God still has use for us here on earth. I relish the fact that he has a purpose for me and that he will fulfill that purpose if I obey him.
