BEFORE PUTTING THOSE CHRISTMAS CARDS AWAY! Try this lesson for a child on the reason for Christmas. Show in John 1:17 that Christ and Jesus is the same person. Then let the child find and circle the “Christ” in all the “Christmas” words. It is a little easier to make the connection between Jesus’ birthday and the Christ in Christmas.

    Beautiful thought. The cards we receive that are truly Christmas Cards are incredibly beautiful and powerful. Sadly we have several featuring the fat man in the red suit as the prominent reason for the Season. Thank God for Christ’s Birth and Who He is to us. Blessings.
