REIGN, REIN, AND RAIN

Reign in me with the perfect law of love.

Your bond servant I will gladly be.

Put an awl in my ear,

Your voice I would hear.

Reign in me, King Jesus, reign in me.

.

Rein me into your presence, Lord.

Equip me with your guiding reins.

Turn me the direction I should go.

Lead me anywhere,

But always keep me near.

With the reins of your Holt Word.

.

Rain on me with springs of living water.

Shower the dry corners of my heart.

Flood out the sin,

Rain pure drops within.

Rain on me, Cleanser of my soul.

About oneta hayes

ABOUT ME Hello. To various folks I am Neat’nee, Mom, Grandma Neta, Gramma, Aunt Neta, Aunt Noni, Aunt Neno, and Aunt Neto (lots of varieties from little nieces and nephews). By necessity you are among those who come after me and I will tell you of those who came before. Once upon a time in a little house on a prairie - oops, change that lest I commit plagiarism - and change that “house on the prairie” to “dugout on the prairie.” So my story begins...

I loved this one. Word play interests me, so whether reign, rein, or rain, we need God in our lives.
